Smart Circuit Breaker

The smart circuit breaker protects an electrical line against overload and short circuit while reporting circuit status to the system. Under fault conditions, it disconnects power according to its protection characteristics.

In a compatible configuration, the breaker enables remote line monitoring, trip notifications, and power-control scenes. Remote re-energizing should only be enabled where it is safe for the connected load.

Rated current, number of poles, tripping curve, and breaking capacity are selected from the electrical design. The device must be installed in the distribution board by a qualified electrician and does not replace proper cable and protection calculations.
