Smoke Detector

The smoke detector continuously monitors the air in its installation zone and reacts to smoke particles. When a hazardous level is detected, it produces a local alarm and reports the event to the system if supported by the selected model.

The event can trigger push notifications, illuminate escape routes, and switch off compatible equipment. Smart home scenes supplement mandatory fire-safety measures and must not be treated as a replacement for them.

Sensing technology, alarm sound level, power source, battery life, and certification are confirmed during product selection. The quantity and placement of detectors are determined by the floor plan, applicable requirements, and the manufacturer’s instructions.
