Carbon Monoxide Sensor

The carbon monoxide sensor monitors CO concentration. Carbon monoxide is a colorless, odorless gas that is hazardous to people, and the device produces an alarm when its configured level is reached.

In a compatible system, an alarm can generate notifications and start ventilation or other predefined actions. Automation is an additional protection layer and does not replace immediate ventilation, evacuation, and contact with emergency services.

Measurement range, alarm thresholds, sound level, sensing-element service life, power source, and certification depend on the model. Placement is selected according to the manufacturer’s instructions and applicable requirements for rooms containing fuel-burning equipment.
